Don McCullin Exhibition
Don McCullin is widely known as a war photographer, this title haunts him. He has never been content with the impact made by the images he has produced. He feels they have had an insufficient role in ending the suffering of the people they depict. Although his photography is about war, his photographs show mostly raw emotion in its purest form. He treats every portrait with respect and modesty. The places he has visited vary from, Vietnam (1954), Cyprus (1955), Congo (1960), Berlin (1961), Afghanistan (2001), Syria (2011), etc.
His work is truly inspirational.
